Freak Out!Stay calm in the crowd

I thought my “freak out” days were over. But I was at a concert last weekend. It was a Baby Boomer type of crowd, no one raucous or rowdy. Except for one guy in the row in front of me.

He was screaming into his phone, using some choice obscenities and disturbing everyone around us. Eventually security removed him. The people around us cheered as he left, but it cast a cloud on an otherwise enjoyable concert.

Never Alone
We’ve all been in public situations that seem to start out fine and then something happens to create unrest. Modern life is filled with so many stress-inducing moments that you could find yourself walking around freaked out all the time.

Self Soothe
I’ve learning that you must self soothe, which means take a moment and breath. Remind yourself that you’re not alone in the world and you will have to deal with people who might not live by your standard.

Soothe your freak out. Take a deep breath, calm your mind and find peace in a chaotic world
