Matt Nathanson “Farewell December”

Matt Nathanson channels his inner King with “Blue Christmas” who sings along with his inner Bono with “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” from his new Christmas album “Farewell December”

Equal Parts Eclectic, Sentimental, and Fun.  Matt Nathanson Shines in His Christmas Debut “Farewell December”

Following the release of last year’s single “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home),” Matt Nathanson returns to the holiday spirit with Farewell December, a full LP of festive favorites for the 2020 holiday season.

The 12-track set features Matt’s sparkling singer/songwriter take on Christmas standards from “Blue Christmas” to “Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer” — as well as his somber take on Joni Mitchell’s “River.” The set also includes appearances from Canadian singer/songwriter Donovan Woods on “Little Drummer Boy” and the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus on “Christmas Time Is Here.”
