I had heard Jim Brickman's music before I met my husband without knowing who Jim Brickman was. I knew some songs and liked them, but I didn't know Jim was behind them. My husband was a big fan. When my husband and I began dating, Jim's music was the soundtrack to many of our romantic dates. I surprised my husband with tickets to a Jim Brickman concert in 2002. He surprised me with a proposal after the concert. Much of Jim's music was used in our wedding, including Destiny, which was our unity candle song. My mom gave us tickets to a Jim Brickman Christmas concert as a wedding gift. In December of 2009, my husband and I went to another Jim Brickman Christmas concert. I was 8 months pregnant, and my husband had emailed about Jim giving us a shout-out at the concert. He received an email back saying that Jim couldn't do that, but we could meet him after the concert. We had Jim autograph his Love Songs and Lullabies CD for our daughter Abby. Abby now has Jim Brickman playing in

One year ago we met you on the cruise! Hi Jim and Brickman Babes A fast year has already gone by since we enjoyed your concert on the ship in the Southern Caribbean. We made friends on that trip with a lovely couple from Nebraska which is an added bonus. Just noticed that you are a year behind me in age. Turning 50 is really OK - I had a great birthday and hope to do it again in 50 more years. Keep up the beautiful music. Andrea Submitted By: Andrea Kelley
