Jim Brickman Summer Musicfest at Classic Park

WDOK 102.1 FM is pleased to announce the Jim Brickman Summer Musicfest on Saturday, August 7 at Classic Park in Eastlake, Ohio, home of the Lake County Captains Professional Baseball Club, the class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians.

The festival will feature Jim Brickman performing his hit songs alongside a diverse showcase of talented musicians including Michael Cavanaugh, the star of Billy Joel’s Broadway musical Movin’ Out, Jeff Timmons, founding member of 98 Degrees and Canton, OH native, Country music superstar Collin Raye, Cleveland favorite vocalist Anne Cochran, award-winning Country singer Ty Herndon, the host of HLN Morning Express, Robin Meade, who will be performing and the emcee at the Summer Musicfest, Contemporary pianist and Ohio native Tom Ameen and the youngest all girl band around G-Force!  These performers, as well as others, will deliver a day of the most memorable performances for music lovers traveling near and far.

Michael Cavanaugh
Michael Cavanaugh is most recognized for his role in the Broadway musical Movin’ Out where he was hand picked by Billy Joel. Appearing in the show for more than three years and over 1,200 performances, he was nominated for both a Grammy and a Tony Award. After the closing of Movin’ Out in 2005, he continues touring the country performing in concert and many corporate events including the PGA Tour, US Open and the Indy 500. In 2009, Cavanaugh made his Boston Pops Orchestra debut. When not on the road or recording, Cavanaugh resides in Las Vegas with his family.

Collin Raye

Jeff Timmons
Jeff Timmons

Jeff Timmons began what was originally a low-key solo career after a phenomenal run with the “boy band” 98 Degrees. He was the founding member of the group, and they produced multi-platinum records (11 Million sold), 8 top ten singles, and a Grammy nomination.  He then released his first solo album, Whisper That Way; the album that gave him Top 20 hits on both the Billboard and Radio & Records charts. Off-stage and outside the studio, Jeff is an advocate for a variety of charities and foundations, especially those benefiting children. For the last eight years, Tom has been the producer and arranger for Jim Brickman. His arrangements can be heard on albums like "Beautiful World" and "Joy." A native of Cleveland as well, Tom studied at the prestigious Cleveland Institute of Music and moved to Los Angeles to pursue his musical career. Recently, he has released several relaxation CD's for Walmart, an Ocean Lullaby album for Fisher Price, and just released a brand new collection of instrumental love songs exclusively to iTunes.
