Boosting Your Home's Value

1. A fresh coat of paint can do wonders. Paint will clean up any dirty walls you might have. Go for lighter shades, they will brighten things up in the room.
2) Add some decorative touches to your yard.  A  bench, stepping stones, or a fountain are all nice touches.  You’ll be amazed what it does for the yard.
3)  Replace some of the dark area rugs in your house with lighter colored ones. Or if your floors are in great shape, just take the area rugs out.. it’ll open up the room and make it look bigger.

How To Slash Your Summer Electric Bills

http://bit.ly/coasYs

1. Turn OFF lights you’re not using. Just flipping that switch can save you hundreds of watts of power a day.

2. Adjust your thermostat.  AC uses huge amounts of electricity when it runs. Raise it to 78 degrees, and you’ll save almost 30% on your bill.

3. Maintain Your Fridge. The fridge is one of the biggest energy users in the house. So adjust the “Cold” control according to the manufacturer’s directions.  Vacuum the fridge coils in the back to remove dust. That helps the fridge run more smoothly.
