Jim BrickmanJim Brickman has revolutionized the sound of solo piano with his pop-style instrumentals and star-studded vocal collaborations.

With over 7 million records sold, Brickman’s romantic piano sound has made him the best selling solo piano artist of our time. His signature songwriting style, original music, and unique performances have also brought him six Gold and Platinum selling albums, 30 charted adult radio hits, Grammy nominations in 2003 & 2009, two SESAC “Songwriter of the Year” awards, a Canadian Country Music Award and a Gospel Music Association Dove Award.

His best-known compositions include the chart-toppers “Valentine,” “The Gift,” “Love of My Life,” “Simple Things” and “Peace.” January 2012 saw Jim hold the top three spots on the Top 10 of Billboard’s New Age chart for his albums Love, Romanza and All is Calm.

Brickman has been a strong supporter of PBS, starring in four TV concert specials: Beautiful World (2009), Jim Brickman Live from Disney’s Magic Kingdom (2005), My Romance—An Evening with Jim Brickman (2000) and Love Songs and Lullabies (2002).

A native of Cleveland, Brickman began playing piano at the age of five and studied music at the prestigious Cleveland Institute of Music. He founded his own advertising music company in 1980, writing commercial jingles for such advertisers as McDonald’s, Pontiac and Kellogg’s.

Other artistic endeavors include a popular weekly radio show, Your Weekend with Jim Brickman; two best-selling books, Simple Things and Love Notes; debuts at Carnegie Hall and the White House; and international touring from Spain to Thailand. Through the Years I can't believe you've been America's Romantic Piano Sensation for 15 years--it seems like just yesterday! I've been a fan for almost all that time. My earliest memory of you is an appearance on a local a.m. talk show in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. And then how excited I was when I first heard "By Heart" playing in a Target store. It clicked that I was listening to "that guy" I just saw on TV, and from that moment on I've considered you my very own "personal" discovery. I have every CD you've ever recorded, and I got them the old-fashioned way--one at a time. Your music makes my heart smile, if you know what I mean. And it bridges generations; my daughters and I share a love for your exquisite piano renditions. In fact, my daughter Katy has given me a JB VIP membership for Mother's Day for the past 3 years. Attending your concerts with her are undoubtedly some of the happiest moments of my life, and photos of us with you, Ann and Tracy capture that moment in time

CONGRATULATIONS! Hello Jim - Like so many others, I have enjoyed your music over the years. A friend took me to one of your concerts at The Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs in 1997 and I have gone to every concert around this area since ( 8 total). I have loved every one of them and will continue to go as much as you come out this way. Each time my husband and I go, we bring a new couple who has never experienced a Jim Brickman concert and they have always loved it also. ( I always say that I am your #1 salesperson)! Thank you so much for all of the wonderful music you have made and for much more to come. I also play the piano but let's just say that no one pays to hear me play. :) You have a gift that so many people have enjoyed over the past 15 years. What is so unique is how your music doesn't tell a person to be happy or sad. The music allows each person to fit it into their life depending on how they feel. I am hooked along with so many other people, so THANK YOU! Can't wait to see you in Ft

Congrats! Hi Jim, I have been waiting for this opportunity to tell you how much you and your music mean (and have meant) to my husband and I. We have all been together for the same amount of time. Ironically, we discovered your music thru David Lanz via a young man at a Best Buys music department. He recommended you when we went to purchase a Lanz cd. (He had recently performed in our area.) Love at first note! Since that time we have been at almost every Indianapolis performance. Last August, my husband was diagnosed with brain cancer. You were with us throught his hospitalization, home stay, final days and his funeral mass. Your Faith cd has kept me sane and Michael Bolton's singing Hear me" is my constant theme song. Thank you so much for sharing your talents, yourself and your friends.I have wonderful memories of beautiful music, laughter and love shared by us. I plan to continue to attend your Indy venues even by myself. Blessings and thanks, Kathy Goebel. Crawfordsville Ind l Submitte
